WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque addressed his wife Stephanie McMahon making an appearance both on-screen and backstage at WrestleMania 40.
Making an appearance at the post-show press conference after night two of WrestleMania 40, Triple H spoke about Stephanie opening the show and attending the weekend’s festivities.
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque said:
“So great to have her back home, to have her back here, to see the doubt leave her by being here for the last few days, to see her confidence come back, and to know that this is her home.
“All of you, all of us, all this business, it’s her home. And as much as anybody on the planet, she belongs here. And hopefully she knows that now. So, happy to have her back.”
Stephanie McMahon made an appearance to begin tonight’s WrestleMania 40 night two as she welcomed fans ahead of the first match of the night. She was also shown on camera in the crowd at the Hall of Fame.
Earlier in the press conference, new WWE Women’s Champion Bayley also noted how she was happy to see Stephanie McMahon backstage.
Elsewhere, Triple H noted that there had been a calculated effort to begin to slowly incorporate production changes under recent WWE hire and former ESPN exec, Lee Fitting.
