Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has commented on the fact that WWE has released so much of its talent throughout the past year.
The releases have included wrestlers, trainees, backstage staff, and it pretty much seems like no-one in any department within the company is safe.
Speaking with the New York Post, Triple H said:
“Coming out of COVID and a pandemic and everything else, all companies are having to make difficult decisions and we were no different. It’s a part of what we do and it happens on a regular basis, all companies have to do it. It’s not the most pleasant part of what you do, but it is what it is.”
There had been some rumors that WWE hadn’t exactly communicated very well with NXT about some of the releases, which seemed apparent in the rehiring of Samoa Joe.
Triple H also alluded to those rumours and opened up about Joe’s role, which you can read more about at this link.
