WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus wrestled a very significant match at the August 19 house show in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
At this show, Stratus teamed with Zoey Stark to face off against Becky Lynch in a handicap match.
This marked Stratus’ first match at a WWE house show in 17 years.
Prior to this bout, Stratus hadn’t wrestled at a WWE house show since 2006.
Lynch ultimately picked up the win in this handicap match, ahead of her next singles showdown with Stratus.
As previously reported, a Lynch vs Stratus steel cage match has been advertised for the September 2 Payback premium live event.

Rhea Ripley (c) defeated Natalya – WWE Women’s World Title
Iyo Sky (c) defeated Charlotte Flair and Asuka – WWE Women’s Title
Cody Rhodes defeated Damian Priest
AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeated Austin Theory, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander
Becky Lynch defeated Trish Stratus & Zoey Stark.
Seth Rollins (c) defeated Finn Balor – WWE World Heavyweight Title Street Fight
Another star wrestled a significant match at a house show this week, with NXT star Ava Raine, daughter of The Rock, making her singles in-ring debut.
