Top WWE Prospect Makes Singles Debut WWE

Ten months on from her first appearance on WWE NXT TV, Ava, the daughter of WWE legend and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, has made her singles debut.

Even better for the fourth generation star was the fact she would also pick up the win in the bout, which took place at an NXT house show in Tampa, Florida on Saturday (August 19).

Ava defeated on-screen rival Ivy Nile in the bout.

While the event on August 19 was Ava’s first taste of singles competition, she has competed on four other occasions, although these exclusively came in the form of tag matches alongside Schism members Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler.

Following Ava’s debut win over Nile, she later accompanied Schism leader Joe Gacy to the ring for his NXT Title match against Carmelo Hayes.

Unfortunately for Gacy, he could not make it two wins for two for the Schism that night.
