On tonight’s AEW Collision (February 10) two stars from CMLL made their AEW debuts in a tag team match against the Blackpool Combat Club.
Following a trend of the last few weeks, two more CMLL stars have made their in-ring debuts in AEW.
As crossover with CMLL continues in AEW, Star Jr and Esfinge made their AEW debut tonight in a match tonight against Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli.
In the end it was Moxley and Castaganoli who picked up the victory on behalf of the Blackpool Combat Club.
After the match, Jon Moxley cut a promo on the entire tag team world, saying that if any team wanted to step up, they would be stepped on.
Immediately responding to that was a team from within AEW, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood), who appeared to step up and pandemonium quickly ensued.
After a staredown in the ring, the two teams got into a brawl which led to officials and some lower-card wrestlers coming out to split them up.
The segment appeared to be a setup for a match between FTR and the BCC at some point in the near future.
