Undertaker & Cody Rhodes Make Surprise Appearances At SDCC2022 WWE

There were some very special guests at SDCC2022 (San Diego Comic Con 2022 for the uninitiated) today representing WWE, including The Undertaker.

While we’ve already brought you the news about the figures discussed at today’s SDCC2022 Mattel panel featuring the new WWE offerings for 2023, there were also some esteemed guests on hand to check out the new arrivals.

Fresh off of his ESPYs win, Cody Rhodes attended SDCC2022, appearing at the panel and presumably hitting the booth as well to check out new figures and renderings of both himself and his late father, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes.

Rhodes was on the hour long panel alongside other new Mattel offerings for 2023 being discussed,  Ciampa & Queen Zelina along with Sam Roberts and designers from Mattel.

In addition to the discussion, fans were treated to a special appearance on the panel by an entirely unexpected guest in The Undertaker.

Cody Rhodes continues to make public appearances without his sling however is unable to share his anticipated timeline for return since according to him, his doctors are a little reluctant to tell him!

At the panel, Rhodes made mention that his doctors are concerned that if they provide a concrete timeframe, Cody will attempt to “jump it” and reportedly displayed a classically coy Cody smile when proclaiming his intention was to in fact, jump it.

Next up for the Undertaker, a one man show in Nashville, Tennessee correlating with WWE riding into town for their annual ‘biggest party of the Summer,’ SummerSlam.
