Update On Former AEW Star’s Wrestling Future Following Surprise Debut AEW

IMPACT Wrestling held it’s Bound For Glory event last night (October 21), which featured a number of big moments.

One surprise came in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match, when former AEW star Sonny Kiss made her debut for the company.

Kiss was eliminated from the Gauntlet by Matt Cardona and Brian Myers, but that seemingly wasn’t the last we’ll see of her in IMPACT.

Per PWInsider, Kiss will be a regular for the brand going forward, though it was not clear if she has signed a contract with the company.

Sonny was one of the original names who joined AEW back in 2019, with her departing the company in September 2023 due to contract expiry.

Last night’s Bound For Glory event ended with the announcement that IMPACT Wrestling would be no more, and the company would be returning to it’s TNA name starting in January 2024.

Another potential surprise appearance on last night’s show was scrapped due to the company not wanting to ‘accidentally tease CM Punk’, which you can see here.
