A new update has been provided regarding the “messy” situation with an NWA star and his contract status with the promotion.
Fightful Select is reporting that Zicky Dice’s contract expires at the end of this year following some controversy in recent months.
It was reported in September that the NWA had executed a rollover on Dice’s deal, despite him having requested his release.
The NWA had previously told talent they’d be free to leave if they didn’t believe in the vision going forward.
However, with him being the TV Champion at the time, the promotion decided to roll it over until the end of 2020. He has since dropped the title to Elijah Burke on a UWN show.
The report also adds that there has been heat between Dice and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, which was well-known in the locker room.
