There is a new update on the AEW contract status for Saraya following her debut.
On the September 21 Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite, Saraya Knight, formerly known as WWE’s Paige, made her debut in All Elite Wrestling.
Tony Khan would later reveal that the first NXT Women’s Champion signed a deal with the promotion.
Various reports circulated since then on whether the former Paige would wrestle in AEW after her arrival.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on the contract and wrestling status of Saraya, noting that sources familiar with the situation claim that the former WWE star agreed to a three-year contract with AEW.
The report also notes that for the amount of money it was signed for “largely implies that she’ll be wrestling in some capacity.”
As previously noted, Saraya has revealed the one person who knew about her All Elite Wrestling debut, which you can read here.
The two-time Divas Champion will speak on the September 28 edition of AEW Dynamite. Also, MJF will address his “devil worshippers”, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will face NJPW’s Juice Robinson of the Bullet Club and Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Title against Bandido.
