Former NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER has been absent from WWE television since losing the championship to Ilja Dragunov back at NXT Takeover 36.
The match was very heavily praised both by fans and by NXT management, which led to many in NXT considering using WALTER more frequently on the NXT brand.
In an update, PWInsider has recently reiterated the reports of WWE wanting to use WALTER more beyond NXT UK, and were told over the weekend that he was currently in the United States.
With NXT 2.0 now veering towards a more developmental style show, one would wonder if WWE would send WALTER there, or if maybe we could hear his name listed as part of tonight’s WWE Draft.
