It was reported earlier today that WWE was not making concrete plans for after the 2021 WWE Draft. Now, it has been reported that that report was not entirely accurate.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast has reported that WWE has big plans for some who will be switching brands in the Draft.
Zarian also reported that he has been told the goal within WWE is to make this year’s Draft more significant than in years past. He also added that there is a unique opportunity to hit the reset button on a lot of talent.
The Draft is currently set to take place after SummerSlam this year. Zarian also reported that the Draft will take place on the August 30 episode of Raw and the September 3 episode of SmackDown.
