Former Champion Returns To The Ring At IMPACT Tapings January 14

At the taping, Lisa Marie Varon, better known to IMPACT fans as five-time Knockouts Champion Tara, and to WWE fans as two-time Women’s Champion Victoria, made a wrestling return.

Tara teamed with Gisele Shaw to challenge Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka for the Knockouts Tag Team Title, but ultimately turned on Shaw.

This was Tara’s first match since her Royal Rumble 2021 match appearance. Prior to this, her last match took place in September 2019.

Numerous top stars were in action at the taping, and a #1 contender to Josh Alexander’s IMPACT World Championship ws determined.

– Jordynne Grace, Mickie James, & Frankie Kazarian def. Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans & Bully Ray.

– Masha Slamovich confronted Mickie James.

– Deonna Purrazzo def. Ashley D’Amboise

– Killer Kelly def. Taylor Wilde

– Steve Maclin def. Dirty Dango

– Trey Miguel def. Mike Jackson.

– Crazzy Steve taunted and Black Taurus chased Trey off.

– KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight def. Jason Hotch & John Skyler

– Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka) (c) def. Gisele Shaw & Tara – Knockout Tag Team Championship

– Tara turned on Shaw after being taunted by her and hit Window’s Peak.
