There was a terrifying moment at a WWE show in Newcastle tonight where the ring ropes snapped during a match.

Bobby Lashley was involved in a frightening ring accident today at a house show on WWE’s UK tour in Newcastle.

As visible in the clip below, during a match with Drew McIntyre, the top rope breaks as Bobby Lashley is in the middle of a whip, leading to him falling out of view and out of the ring!

Thankfully according to fans in attendance, Lashley appeared to be uninjured as he got up and finished the match after the ring was safe to continue.

WWE continues their tour of the UK with a show tomorrow (April 29) in London at The O2 arena with “Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, Sasha Banks, RK-Bro, Sheamus, Sami Zayn and many more,” scheduled to appear.

WWE continues to build toward their next premium live event, WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8, 2022 with scheduled WrestleMania re-matches between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins as well as an ‘I Quit’ match between WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.
