Wardlow On Dream Team With The Hardy Boyz In AEW AEW

Wardlow may still be in MJF’s faction the Pinnacle for now but as AEW continues to tease dissension with its fearless leader, could we see Wardlow join a new stable with the Hardy Boyz?

In a recent conversation with the Battleground Podcast, Wardlow described some of his favorite wrestlers including one that has been widely speculated to soon join the AEW roster, saying:

“Growing up, it started with Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect. Bret Hart was the first one that made me fall in love with wrestling, then Mr Perfect. Then it was Kevin Nash, and The Rock, and then it was very much Jeff Hardy for a number of years. Then it was big Dave Bautista and Brock. When I started growing and hitting the weights, Brock and Batista were starting to blow up, so it timed out right where I looked at those guys and went, ‘yeah, that’s what we are going for now.’”

Expanding on what he would most like to do with Hardy if he were to appear in the AEW locker room, Wardlow said:

“Just sharing a locker room with Jeff Hardy would mean the world to me. To be involved in any type of match with him would be amazing. I personally would rather team with Matt and Jeff to take on three others, rather than wrestle Jeff myself.”

Wardlow has been recently involved in an ongoing angle teasing a possible break with MJF as he continues to have problematic interactions with the faction leader during MJF’s feud with CM Punk.

Jeff Hardy has been widely thought to be joining the AEW roster upon the expiration of his 90-day non-compete clause after being released by WWE which has been teased multiple times on both Matt Hardy’s social media posts and even on AEW television.
