Following his first in-ring promo on last week’s AEW Dynamite, Wardlow has given his thoughts on the opportunity.
Speaking with Rick Ucchino of the Bleav In Pro Wrestling Podcast, The Face of the Revolution expressed excitement about having the microphone in his hand.
When asked about his big promo, Wardlow answered:
“I was very excited to show that and I’m excited to have the opportunity to have a microphone in my hand more often. But yeah man, I’m just ready to be myself. I’ve had to be the silent bodyguard… and realistically there is a side of me that is very quiet and to myself, but I’m ready just to show the world every aspect of Wardlow. And everything that I can do, because I have so much more to give than what people have seen,”
Wardlow has had an eventful last week. Mr. Mayhem won the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match to earn a shot at the AEW TNT Championship at AEW Revolution.
Later that night, he betrayed his long-time boss MJF by handing CM Punk his Dynamite Diamond Ring and allowing Punk to defeat him in a bloody Dog Collar Match.
After his successful first in-ring promo last week, Wardlow will look to get his biggest win yet when he faces Scorpio Sky for the TNT Title this Wednesday on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam special.
