Making her long awaited in-ring debut on the main roster on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Blake Monroe has finally arrived.

The former Mariah May in AEW and Stardom made an impact in her first match, showing off both her impressive glamour but also, violence.

After her last match on TV occurring all the way back in April, it has been quite some time since Blake Monroe fans have been able to see her in action.

Finally making her hotly anticipated in-ring debut on WWE SmackDown on the October 2 edition of the blue brand, Monroe ended up picking up the victory.

Resuming her longstanding rivalry with Guilia, Blake Monroe both held her own and emerged victorious in her debut match.

While the finish was certainly not clean, with Giulia being ‘knocked out’ by the ring post, Monroe was certainly happy to accept the victory regardless.

Picking up the win to mark not only her first win on the main roster but to boast a currently undefeated streak in process, there are certainly creative plans ahead for the star.

While they have had one match, it would certainly seem that there is more ground left to cover between Blake and Giulia.

Able to both harken back to their previous conflicts in Japan, Giulia may be unwilling to accept this defeat as she wasn’t truly bested by Monroe.

Certainly going another round with Giulia could make sense but there may be even bigger targets for Monroe on SmackDown in the future.

Ending up in a rivalry with the likes of a big name like Charlotte Flair or Jade Cargill whilst still fending off sneak attacks backstage and otherwise from Giulia could keep their feud going without getting repetitive.

Making frenemies

Able to harken back to a wildly successful storyline form Monroe’s NXT days, she could certainly take any number of the SmackDown women’s division under her glamouous wing.

Previously treating Jordynne Grace to a new view on life, it could be that this time around Monroe ends up recruiting the favor of the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green  or even one of the members of Fatal Influence (of course, to sew division in the group) for some one-on-one time.

Another route for Monroe could be align with a veteran Divas era icon like Paige or Nikki Bella for a powerful new alliance, either one the babyface or heel side of the women’s SmackDown roster.

Cozy back up to Chelsea Green

After weeks of vignettes, Blake Monroe made her WWE SmackDown debut in a backstage segment with Chelsea Green on the May 22 episode of SmackDown

Another solid path forward for Blake Monroe might be to just straight up target the interim WWE Women’s Champion, Chelsea Green.

Doing a spin on her previous dramatic storyline with Timeless Toni Storm as Mariah May in AEW, there could be an amazing storyline by which Monroe seeks to get close to Green by way of alienating Tiffany Stratton.

With Tiffy Time in full effect as she looks ahead to try and capture her second Money in the Bank ladder match victory, it might be that there is a fun interpersonal feud coming soon between some of the top stars on the SmackDown women’s roster.
