AEW
With the sudden departure of Timeless Toni Storm from AEW presented as a whodunnit mystery, let’s revisit the clues left behind at the scene.
While there has never been an official reason revealed for the disappearance of Timeless Toni Storm from AEW TV, there was a compelling mystery revealed when she was taken off of TV in March 2026.
Her last official match was at AEW Revolution where she defeated Marina Shafir. On the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, there was a backstage angle revealing a dastardly attack on Timeless Toni Storm, leading to the extended absence of the fan favorite star.
Who Killed Toni Storm?

Putting together an iconic photoshoot reportedly with very short notice, continual creative force behind the Timeless Toni Storm, RJ City helped to pull together a masterpiece.
Sharing an image to AEW social media pages featuring a variety of compelling suspects, the disappearance of Toni Storm was revealed in such a way that led fans to assume the star would be returning at a finite point in the future.
Reportedly putting together the creative angle backstage on the day of Dynamite’s taping, not only was the crime scene shown on TV – there was even an AEW t-shirt released.
The Clues

Seemingly bashed with her own shoe, Toni Storm is laid out as the central visual but there are plenty of clues hanging around behind her.
With a mask by her foot, a bouquet of flowers left next to her body, a bloody heel, shards of glass, sneakers, a golden steel chair, bull rope, cowbell and a kendo stick – there are plenty of details for at home sleuths to work with.
Most intriguingly, are items that seem to suggest involvement from others in the women’s locker room. Featured in the photo, Mina Shirakawa’s barbed wire bat, a neon M that could be pointing to Mercedes Mone and Harley Quinn-style hammer that had been carried by Penelope Ford reading ‘Megan Bayne’.
Also featured in the photo, the trash bin toppled over with what appears to be Tony Khan’s coffee cup,
The Merch

While AEW got some criticism for the initial release of the faux crime scene photo as a t-shirt print, there was another piece of merch that deepened the potential suspect’s pool.
In an art print poster featuring snapshots from the scene, a giant magnifying glass reveals a host of AEW talent as being potential suspects.
Featured in the art print are: Marina Shafir, Mina Shirakawa, Thekla, Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander, Mercedes Mone, Penelope Ford, Willow Nightingale, Megan Bayne, Harley Cameron, Athena, Julia Hart, Thunder Rosa, Hikaru Shida, Deonna Purazzo, Private Party, Jon Moxley, Renee Paquette, Wheeler Yuta, Tony Schiavone, Luther, Prince Nana and referee Rick Knox.
The Return

While there is no set timeframe for Storm’s return to AEW, leaving her departure shrouded in mystery remains part of the fun.
Whenever Timeless Toni Storm returns to the company, it would make complete sense for the mystery to resume as there are not only plenty of suspects – perhaps the best gumshoe for the job would be the Timeless one herself.
