The line up for this year’s Money In The Bank Ladder matches are now official following tonight’s WWE SmackDown show.
With Money In The Bank set to take place next weekend in New Orleans, the line up for both matches have begun to take shape.
On the men’s side, Bron Breakker, Je’von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta and CM Punk are confirmed for the match, with the final spot going to either Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens or Johnny Gargano in tonight’s main event.
Tiffany Stratton qualifies for Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match
In the women’s match, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend had already qualified, with the final spot going to either Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae or Tatum Paxley in the opening match of the night.
In the end it was Stratton who scored the win, completing the line up for the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match next weekend in New Orleans.
Tiffany qualifying for the match makes her the only former World Champion in this year’s Ladder match, with only her and Roxanne having previously competed in a Money In The Bank Ladder match.
If Tiffany picks up the win, she will become the first ever (recognised) two-time Women’s Money In The Bank winner.
Who will win this year’s Women’s Money In The Bank?
With the line up for the women’s match now complete, we now know which six women have the chance to become Miss Money In The Bank in New Orleans next weekend.
With this year’s women’s match, a focus was put heavily on the next generation of stars, many of whom are competing in the match for the very first time.
While any of the six women would make for a great winner, the two favourites for the case at this moment in time would have to be Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez.
Tiffany Stratton has been allied with Chelsea Green on SmackDown in recent months, with many expecting her to eventually turn on Chelsea and take the title, with Money In The Bank being an easy way to do so.
With Roxanne Perez, WWE has been teasing a Judgment Day break up for as long as I’ve been alive, so her winning the case, with Liv Morgan likely regaining the title, would also be a safe bet.
