The line up for the 2026 Men’s WWE Money In The Bank Ladder match was finalised in the main event of tonight’s SmackDown.

With WWE Money In The Bank taking place next weekend in New Orleans, the line ups for both of this year’s titular matches were finalised tonight on SmackDown in Denver.

The show opened up with the Women’s Money In The Bank qualifier, which saw Tiffany Stratton pick up the win over Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae to qualify for her second Money In The Bank match of her career.

Tiffany joins Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend in this year’s women’s match.

Kevin Owens qualifies for Money In The Bank Ladder match

The main event of tonight’s SmackDown saw the final men’s qualifier take place, with Cody Rhodes, Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens facing off for the right to be in next weekend’s Ladder match.

In the end, Kevin Owens picked up the win after Randy Orton interfered to stop Cody from winning the match, with Kevin pinning Gargano to head to New Orleans.

Owens joins Bron Breakker, Je’von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta and CM Punk in this year’s field.

Much like the women’s match, this year’s Money In The Bank focuses heavily on newer faces, with Owens and Punk being the only two former world champions in the match.

Who is the favourite for the Men’s Money In The Bank?

Heading into the match, this year’s men’s Money In The Bank is unpredictable, with several plausible winners out of the line up of six.

Coming out of his match with Roman Reigns on WWE Raw in Mexico City, Penta is now closer to breaking out as a main event star in WWE than ever before, with him even reportedly being considered a favourite to win this year’s match.

The other obvious favourite to win the briefcase this year is Bron Breakker, who has been earmarked as a future world champion on television for over a year after he joined forces with The Vision.

While Punk has won the match twice before and you can never count him out from doing it again, it doesn’t feel as though he will become the first ever three-time Mr. Money In The Bank this year.
