Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay has gotten a new tattoo prior to his final NJPW contracted match.
At NJPW New Beginning in Osaka, Bullet Club War Dogs defeated United Empire in a bloody Dog Pound Steel Cage main event after David Finlay pinned Will Ospreay.
This bout marked Ospreay’s last contracted match of his NJPW deal before he heads to All Elite Wrestling on a new contract.
However, it looks like the United Empire leader left New Japan with a touching parting gift.
During a fan meet and greet prior to the show (via CiaranRH93 on Twitter), Will Ospreay revealed a brand new tattoo of the NJPW logo on his forearm.
Ospreay recently got the date of his first New Japan match tattooed on his body, so this latest addition is another genuine tribute to his time with the promotion.
Will Ospreay is expected to start with AEW shortly and will appear on the Revolution pay-per-view card on March 3.
