A former WWE star is set to return to the ring for one more match.
Former WWE Diva’s and IMPACT Knockouts Champion Gail Kim has not wrestled a match since IMPACT Rebellion in 2019, where she was defeated by Tessa Blanchard.
Kim was the inaugural and seven-time former IMPACT Knockouts Champion, and was inducted into the IMPACT Hall of Fame back in 2016.
Kim continues to work behind the scenes in IMPACT as a producer, but she will be back in the ring at IMPACT 1000.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Gail Kim announced that she will return to the ring for one more match at IMPACT 1000 on September 9, though she did not name an opponent.
Kim is not the only former Knockouts Champion returning to the ring for the show, as Kim’s former rival Awesome Kong will also be returning to ring on the show.
The main event of the show will see Alex Shelley defend the IMPACT World Championship against Trey Miguel.
