WWE To Celebrate ’40 Years Of Hulkamania’ This Month WWE

WWE’s plans to celebrate ’40 years of Hulkamania’ for the month of January, including the possibility of Hulk Hogan appearing on-screen.

The Golden Era of WWE really kicked off 40 years ago this month, when Hulk Hogan defeated the Iron Sheik to capture his first WWE Championship on January 23, 1984.

With January 2024 marking 40 years since that moment, WWE plans on celebrating 40 years of Hulkamania this month, with merchandise, collectibles and even a potential appearance for the Hulkster.

WrestleVotes tweeted:

WWE plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hulkamania this month with various new merchandise items & collectibles for Hulk Hogan.

I’m told an appearance by Hogan is not out of the question but also not planned as of now. The recognized start of Hulkamania has generally been when he defeated the Iron Sheik for his 1st WWE Championship on 1/23/1984.

Roman Reigns is a few months away from catching Hulk Hogan’s four-year reign with the championship, with him passing the Hulkster should he keep the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship until September.
