WWE star Je’Von Evans has commented on his age after impressing people early during his run with the company.
Evans, who wrestled as Jay Malachi on the independent scene, joined WWE at the start of the year.
Following reports that Evans had been impressing WWE officials with his work at house shows, the rising star made his Tuesday Night NXT debut on the April 9 show.
Evans returned to NXT TV this week (April 16) for an impressive non-title match against NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov.
Je’Von Evans has now taken to Twitter to confirm that he is 19 years old. The NXT star wrote:
For Everyone Wondering, I Am In Fact 19 Years Old😂😂

Evans’ wrestling history has seen him work for DEADLOCK Pro, OVW and AEW among others.
He had three matches on AEW Dark across 2022 and 2023, ahead of joining WWE.
Other names who joined WWE following previous tryouts included Lucky Ali and Brogan Finlay, son of Fit Finlay.
Another new WWE signing has officially been confirmed, which you can read more about right here.
