Ahead of WWE Royal Rumble, Triple H has confirmed the date and location for the upcoming Backlash Premium Live Event.
Royal Rumble will emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today (January 31), and Triple H has shared a new update on what’s in store for the future.
Sharing a video from the Royal Rumble set, Triple H confirmed that WWE Backlash 2026 will take place on May 9.
This Premium Live Event will emanate from the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.
This will be the first WWE PLE following WrestleMania 42, which is slated to take place across April 18-19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Also announced is Elimination Chamber, which will take over the United Center in Chicago on February 28.
SummerSlam 2026 and Money in the Bank were also previously announced on the WWE calendar, with SummerSlam slated for August 1-2 in Minneapolis, MN, and Money in the Bank to take place in New Orleans on September 6.
