WWE Star Bayley Provides Update On WrestleMania 40 Opponent

WWE star Bayley provided an update on who she planned on choosing as her WrestleMania 40 opponent on tonight’s WWE Raw.

On tonight’s January 29 Raw, the winners of the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 were on hand as both Cody Rhodes and Bayley appeared.

While Rhodes had a celebratory segment that was interrupted by Seth Rollins, Bayley made a big appearance with all of Damage CTRL.

Noting that Damage CTRL was making history as they have captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship, WWE Women’s Championship and now the Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Bayley celebrated that the stable had made history and it was all thanks to her for putting the group together.

However, Bayley was shortly interrupted by Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley.

Their interaction would end up being short as Nia Jax would appear and attack Rhea Ripley on the entrance ramp.

After hitting Ripley with multiple leg drops and the A-Nia-lator, Jax left the champion down in one corner as she confronted Bayley in the other.

Jax told Bayley she should choose to challenge her own stablemate IYO SKY, because Rhea Ripley won’t be making it to WrestleMania.

Bayley revealed that she planned to announce her decision on Friday on SmackDown, as the camera showed fellow Damage CTRL member and WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY giving Bayley the side eye.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, Andrade made his first appearance since his return at Royal Rumble 2024 and officially signed with a brand.
