A new WWE champion has a message for fans after scoring a big win during tonight’s WrestleMania 40 night two.
Bayley was successful in her bid to become the WWE Women’s Champion as she beat IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40.
Taking to social media to share photos from backstage at tonight’s event after she won the new championship gold, Bayley wrote a heartfelt caption for her fans.
Bayley wrote:
“I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has believed and have patiently been on this journey with me. The best fans in the damn world.
“#WrestleMania”
The snaps specifically featured her win as well as posing with both new Undisputed WWE Universa; Champion Cody Rhodes and new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest.
Bayley defeated former Damage CTRL teammate IYO SKY to become the WWE Women’s Champion on night two whereas on night one the rest of the members also came up empty handed.
The Damage CTRL team of Dakota Kai and the Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane and Asuka) were defeated by the trio of Naomi, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
