Fascinating New Stat Regarding Current Champion In WWE WWE

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on the July 17 episode of WWE Raw.

Highlights from the match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez can be seen below this news story.

As previously reported, the result came in an episode of WWE Raw that had seen Rodriguez and Morgan in a physical altercation with Rhea Ripley.

The victory saw Green added to a shortlist of wrestlers in a very exclusive championship club.

As noted by SEScoops, as a former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, Green is the fourth person to have held that title and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The report notes that The IIconics were the first two to set the standard having won the WWE Women’s Tag Titles at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 and the Knockouts Tag Team Titles in October 2021 at Bound for Glory under the name The IInspiration.

With Billie Kay and Peyton Royce setting the standard, the third name on the list was Zelina Vega who won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Carmella in November 2021 having previously been Knockouts Tag Team Champion as Rosita as one-half of Mexican America (with Sarita) in March 2011.

Green is the fourth name on the list thanks to her August 12, 2022, win alongside Deonna Purrazzo as the team VXT.
