WWE’s Dominik Mysterio Breaks Silence After CM Punk Match WWE

CM Punk had his first WWE match in more than a decade at Madison Square Garden on December 26, 2023, facing ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio.

The in-ring return took place as part of the WWE Holiday Live tour with Punk going on to win the match with a GTS on Mysterio.

As previously reported, Punk is not scheduled for the ‘Day 1’ edition of WWE Raw, he is scheduled to appear on January 8 in Portland, Oregon and January 22 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Punk didn’t just celebrate his win over Mysterio at MSG as he was also awarded a plaque by the iconic venue that hosted his first match back.

After the match, Dominik Mysterio shared his own thoughts on the return, tweeting:

“The best in the world…and cm punk #JudgmentDay⚖️”

Chris Jericho also sent a message of congratulations to CM Punk following the former AEW star’s return match in WWE.

The WWE Holiday Live event has reportedly become the company’s highest-grossing domestic non-televised event of all time.

All members of Judgment Day were in attendance at Madison Square Garden aside from R-Truth.

R-Truth’s membership of the group has been a bone of contention since he beat JD McDonagh.
