WWE’s Drew McIntyre Explains Why He’s Still Targeting CM Punk WWE

Drew McIntyre has commented on his issues with CM Punk, hinting that more stars have a problem with the former WWE Champion.

While Punk has had confrontations with several stars since returning to WWE in November 2023, Drew McIntyre appears to be Punk’s current nemesis.

With Punk suffering a torn tricep injury in the Royal Rumble match, McIntyre attacked the injured star on the January 29 edition of Raw, and has been mocking Punk on social media ever since.

Speaking on WWE The Bump, McIntyre argued that he’s the only person keeping Punk’s name alive with his trolling.

Arguing that a ‘crap ton’ of people have issues with Punk, he said:

“I’m the only one that seems to have a problem with him because he’s been gone, he’s hurt. When he was there, there was lots of people with problems with him.

“But now that he’s not there, I’m the only one keeping his name alive. So that’s why. If he was there, there’s a crap ton of people that have a problem with CM Punk, trust me. Even if they’re not saying it publicly.”

CM Punk has now been announced for an upcoming WWE show, which you can read more about right here.
