WWE
Following a defeat on last night’s episode of Raw, a WWE star has slammed the “coward luchador bums” for getting in the way of his quest.
Chad Gable may have sought forgiveness from the various luchadors in WWE after his stint as El Grande Americano saw him unmasked and a babyface, but a fellow star has nothing but animosity towards the high-flying stars.
Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw Ethan Page come up short against Rey Mysterio, with the outspoken star making his feelings quite clear in a post shared on Twitter, stating:
“Yet to meet a luchador who isn’t a coward.
“You know where to find me. #WWERaw”
The post would include a video of an incensed Page, making his feelings even clearer as he said:
“Great. Now you want to put a camera in my face. Perfect time.
“Perfect time, and let me make one point very clear. No matter the outcome tonight, one thing I will not do is hide my face in shame. This is the face that got me here and this is the face that’s gonna bring me to the top.
“You coward luchador bums. This is far from over, and so is my quest for gold. I’m just getting started.”

Page’s rage against the luchadors has been obvious for many weeks, with his loss to Penta on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in May seeing him declare “the Intercontinental Championship finally got the spotlight it deserved.”
With that title clearly very much in his sights, an Intercontinental Championship win would mark the first main roster title win in Page’s career.
WWE Realizes A Miss Opportunity
Despite spending time together in AEW, Ethan Page and Penta (El Zero M, at the time) wouldn’t have a singles match until the aforementioned WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
That’s not to say that they didn’t share the ring together, with Penta and Page featuring in the AEW Revolution TNT Championship Face of the Revolution Ladder Match in March 2021, with that encounter being won by Scorpio Sky, who also stood victorious over Cody Rhodes, Lance Archer and Max Caster. That outing would be followed over two years later by Page teaming with Lee Moriarty and Big Bill in a loss to Bandido & The Lucha Brothers (Penta and fellow WWE star Rey Fenix) on the June 7, 2023, episode of AEW Rampage.
Fast forward around three years, and with both stars signed by WWE, Page would team with Rusev, beating Je’Von Evans & Penta on the May 4, 2026 episode of Raw.
It’s entirely possible that WWE sees a future in Penta feuding with Page, with the pair having faced each other twice during the recent European Summer Tour, with Chad Gable teaming with the luchador in a victory over Page & Rusev in their only tag team match of the tour.
Page focusing on the Intercontinental Championship is a wise choice for the star, potentially allowing him to bring his Canadian pride to the long-standing title, should he be the one to unseat Penta.
