Chad Gable is officially a babyface and has even brought back the original American Alpha entrance theme on WWE Raw.

Coming off the highly praised mask vs mask match at WWE AAA Noche De Los Grandes, Gable was unmasked as the Original El Grande Americano after he lost to Ludwig Kaiser’s version of El Grande Americano.

Since his unmasking, Gable has appeared on WWE TV apologizing to luchadores like Rey Fenix and Penta for his actions in mocking lucha libre over the past year plus.

While they accepted his apology, Penta reminded him that if he wants to truly apologize and restore the respect of luchadores, he should go to Rey Mysterio.

Gable did exactly that on WWE Raw in Paris, France today and his apology was accepted by Mysterio too, though Mysterio told him that there more were things he did in the past – even before he was Original El Grande Americano – that he needs to apologize for.

Shortly after that, Mysterio challenged Penta for the Intercontinental Champion, with Penta scoring the win and retaining his title.

However, after the match, they were both ambushed by Rusev and Ethan Page, and while Dragon Lee tried to make the save, he was unsuccessful in doing so and was taken out as well.

Rusev then tore the mask of Rey Mysterio’s head, which brought out Chad Gable who made his entrance to the original American Alpha entrance theme from when he was teaming with Jason Jordan a decade ago.

Gable managed to take out Page and Rusev, and then grabbed hold of Mysterio’s mask and handed it back to him, solidifying his babyface status going forward on WWE TV.
