Ever since getting called up to the WWE main roster, Trick Williams has cemented himself as one of the most popular stars in the company.

Showing his connection with the fans, Williams has garnered a ton of momentum that might see him becoming the leader of his group in WWE.

Considering his history with several members of Raw, SmackDown and NXT, it could be any number of names on the roster that might join forces with Williams in the near future.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join a new Trick Williams faction.

7. Carmelo Hayes

When Trick Williams first came to WWE, he aligned himself with Carmelo Hayes on the NXT brand.

Trick-Melo Gang became one of the most prominent acts on WWE NXT and formed a friendship that is still fondly remembered.

Despite their subsequent split and breakup in 2024, it is clear that both Williams and Hayes hold that time together very close to their hearts despite being more concerned with their individual success.

If Williams is to create his own faction, he would be hard-pressed to find someone who knows him better than Melo to start on the right foot.

6. Ilja Dragunov

During his time on WWE NXT, Trick Williams developed a rivalry and eventual bond with Ilja Dragunov.

In a rivalry built on competition and mutual respect, Williams was able to prove himself against “The Mad Dragon.”

Trick eventually went on to defeat Dragunov to win his first NXT Championship after failing to beat him several times.

Williams aligning with Dragunov would be interesting and continue their story that was first introduced in NXT on the WWE main roster under the same faction.

5. Je’Von Evans

Another friend and rival of Trick Williams dating back to his time on WWE NXT was Je’Von Evans.

When “The Young OG” first debuted in WWE, he formed a friendship with Williams and viewed him as a big brother of sorts.

At the start of 2026, Evans got called up to the WWE main roster and became a member of the Monday Night Raw brand, while Williams has made his home on Friday Night SmackDown

However, Trick creating his own stable could see Evans joining forces with him once again and trying to find success as a unit.

4. Tony D’Angelo

Trick Williams got his start in WWE on the NXT brand as part of the rebrand to 2.0 alongside several other names on the roster.

One of the other stars that made his debut around the same time as Williams was Tony D’Angelo.

As part of this new wave of talent on NXT, Trick and Tony D went on to become two of the most decorated stars of the past few years on the brand.

While he is currently the NXT Champion, D’Angelo could join Trick on the main roster if Williams opens the door for his arrival through a new faction.

3. Royce Keys

After making his debut at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Royce Keys has now made his new home on Friday Night SmackDown.

Becoming one of the most featured names on the blue brand, Keys has found himself being convinced by Solo Sikoa to make him part of the MFTs stable.

However, Keys could have another option for a faction to join forces with if Trick Williams creates a new group himself.

Becoming the enforcer for this possible stable, Keys would work well alongside Trick where they could potentially help each other rise up the ladder on SmackDown moving forward.

2. The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax)

It is no secret that Trick Williams is closely tied to another star on the SmackDown roster in Lash Legend.

Williams and Legend formed their relationship during their time on NXT and are now engaged to get married.

While Trick made his official main roster debut in January, Legend had a bit of a head start by joining the blue brand in November 2025 and becoming a tag team with Nia Jax.

Trick joining forces with The Irresistible Forces could play off his real life relationship with Lash, while having one of the most dominant duos in the WWE women’s division by his side.

1. Oba Femi

During his time on WWE NXT, Trick Williams did not have a more insurmountable opponent and rival on the level of Oba Femi.

It was “The Ruler” who ended Trick’s second reign as the NXT Champion on the brand at the start of 2025.

Now more than a year later, Femi finds himself on Monday Night Raw where he has become one of the fastest rising stars on the brand, while Trick has become an ultra popular talent in the company.

Despite these two men having their place and on the path to greatness, Trick and Oba could form an alliance within a new faction that puts them both at the top on their individual brands sooner rather than later.
