Potential WWE Creative Plans In Doubt Due To Expiring Talent Contract WWE

A new report has revealed some potential WWE creative plans that are now in doubt due to an expiring talent contract.

As previously reported, former NXT North American Champion Trick Williams is now reportedly no longer being considered for a WWE main roster call-up in the 2024 Draft.

The reported plan is for Williams to be featured as the top star on NXT programming following this year’s WWE Draft.

Now, there is a report that has revealed some plans that have been discussed for Trick moving forward on the WWE NXT brand.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that there have been several pitches for Trick Williams to have a summer feud with Dijak on NXT programming. However, this planned feud currently remains up in the air due to Dijak’s current contract status.

It remains to be seen when or if Dijak’s WWE contract will expire at the time of this writing.

Trick Williams is set to challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship on the April 23 NXT Spring Breakin special.

WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Dijak’s status with WWE NXT when they become available.
