Grayson Waller Shares Honest Thoughts On WWE Management WWE

Grayson Waller doesn’t often have nice things to say, but he shared his honest thoughts on WWE NXT head Shawn Michaels in a recent interview.

In 2023, Waller was a thorn in the side of Michaels, antagonising at every opportunity on WWE NXT.

Speaking on The Collection with Brad Gilmore, Waller showed his softer side, giving his thoughts on the success of Michaels as the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, saying:

“I know personally me and Shawn in the past haven’t necessarily got along, but it is what it is I can still show him the respect, and I see the investment that he has in the talent there.

“When you’re someone that he sees something in, he’s going to go in and he’s going to do whatever it takes to help you out.

“The right people down there are going to use him appropriately, and get them to the main roster and get them to big things on the main roster.”

Speaking further on the way that Michaels approaches the business, Waller explained:

“He’s straight to the point, he’s blunt, there’s no babying down there for when you’re with Shawn

“He’s going to tell you exactly what he thinks and that’s the guy to listen to.

“He’s literally done it all, so if you’re not going to Shawn for advice and you’re not taking in any lessons from him, you’re not going to go anywhere.”

Waller signed with WWE in March 2021 and made his debut in June that year on 205 Live.

A regular fixture on WWE NXT, he would move to the main roster as part of the 2023 WWE Draft.

Recently, he has been teaming with Austin Theory with the pair continuing their antagonising ways, this time with Kevin Owens.

Owens appeared at NXT New Year’s Evil and punched Waller in the face causing the SmackDown star to lose to Trick Williams.
