A WWE Hall of Famer has discussed their new role with All Elite Wrestling.
In November, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett made his debut for AEW by aligning himself with Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh on the November 2 edition of Dynamite.
Tony Khan would later announce that Jarrett also signed on to be AEW’s Director of Business Development.
During the latest “My World” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer explained his role and how there are a lot of cool things coming in Q1 for AEW next year. Jarrett said:
“Hopefully we get some announcements out sooner rather than later, but there’s a lot of cool things … The WWE is a 40, 50, 60-year-old company, the lineage goes back three or four generations.”
“AEW, I mean people may or may not take this the right way, but in a lot of ways it’s no longer the embryo, it’s been born, but it’s still in the infant stages. It’s really cool.”
Jeff Jarrett previously worked as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events prior to his release and eventually signing with All Elite Wrestling.
Jarrett made his first wrestling appearance for AEW at the Full Gear event where he teamed with Jay Lethal in a loss to Sting and Darby Allin.
