Former WWE star Enzo Amore has addressed a potential run-on with his former tag team partner Big Cass (Big Bill).
While it has now been almost a decade since his WWE exit, Enzo Amore is someone who has been in the news quite a bit lately in regards to a potential return to the company.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion reportedly visited the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in May, with Dave Meltzer noting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Amore is set to return to the company on the NXT brand.
While he remains listed on the AEW roster page at the time of writing, Amore’s former tag team partner Big Cass’ contract with the company is reportedly due to expire in the near future, leading to speculation that we could see the pair reunite in WWE.
Although WWE was not mentioned, Amore was asked about potentially reuniting with Cass in Fourth Rope Wrestling during a recent chat with Emilio Sparks.
Regarding the possibility, Enzo said:
“(I’m) Not the booker (laughs).”
Fourth Rope Wrestling is the promotion founded by Buffalo, New York rapper Westside Gunn and Harlem’s Smoke DZA, which Amore has appeared for on several occasions.
When Emilio Sparks mentioned how he and Cass are forever intertwined, Amore spoke more about their friendship:
“F**k yeah, he’s my best buddy. I mean we play three fantasy football leagues together. He’s my brother. He’s my Hawk, I’m his Animal.”

Reflecting on his early beginnings in WWE, Amore hailed Big Cass for “saving his life a million times” buy cluing him in on many aspects of the pro wrestling business he was not aware of at the time:
“Big Cass saved my life a million times. Because when you’re green and you don’t know even know what the word mark is, and you don’t know what the word green means, and you don’t know what the word kayfabe is and you don’t understand any of the language, you’ve never heard of the dirt sheets, you’ve never watched the indies in your life.
“If you’re me and you break into WWE, you think you just do it through Tough Enough. I had no idea how the f**k you become a pro wrestler.”

Like Enzo, Big Cass exited WWE in 2018, but continued to wrestle on the independent scene afterwards.
Under the names W. Morrissey and later Big Bill, Cass debuted in TNA in 2021 and competed in the promotion until signing with AEW the following year.
