WWE SmackDown stars Trick Williams and Lash Legend are now married, with their wedding taking place in Jamaica.
Listed among the guests were Oba Femi, Nia Jax, Julius Creed and Lil Yachty.
United States Champion Williams was at today’s SmackDown taping in London, England and explained that the wedding, which took place this past Saturday, was the reason he was absent from SmackDown the night prior.
Speaking with People, Legend said:
“We really wanted to give people a trip and a wedding they’ve never experienced before. We both have people who love and support us, so we wanted to have this special time for everyone.”
People also described the buffet options at the wedding as follows:
The couple and their guests also enjoyed a buffet-style dinner featuring a mix of American and Jamaican food, including: crab cakes, beef patties, chicken patties, red conch, smoked salmon smorgasbord, jerk shrimp, chicken kebabs, lamb chops, braised oxtail with beans, pan-seared snapper fillet, garlic mashed organic greens, rice and peas, chocolate brownies, and assorted sorbets. The three-tiered wedding cake was flavored red velvet, white, and lemon.
Lash Legend A Potential Singles Star In WWE
While Trick Williams has already won the United States Championship, Lash Legend has spent her WWE main roster tenure in a tag team with Nia Jax.
While it’s been a success and they held the Women’s Tag Team Title, it does feel like there’s a lot more Legend can offer on her own.
WWE has already highlighted her with big performances in matches like WarGames, the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, so it’s clear that she’s on that path.
However, as has been a theme in recent times, hopefully WWE doesn’t wait too long before giving Legend the big singles push that seems to be in store for her.
