Update On Wrestling Future Of WWE Hall Of Famer’s Son WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has addressed their son’s wrestling future following their exit from AEW in late 2023.

While 2023 saw notable AEW arrivals such as Adam Copeland, Jay White and Roderick Strong, the year also saw many stars depart the company at the expiration of their contracts.

Sonny Kiss, Brian Pillman Jr. and Jade Cargill were a few of the notable young stars to exit the company, with Brock Anderson joining that list in October.

Speaking on his ARN podcast, Brock’s father and AEW coach Arn Anderson recently provided an update on how his son is getting on following his exit from the company.

The Hall of Famer explained that he feels his son needs to gain more experience by competing in the ring as often as possible in order to aid his overall development, something he perhaps didn’t get a chance to do towards the end of his time in AEW.

Arn said:

“He’s gonna have to make his own decisions on the options that he has.”

“I think he needs more seasoning. He needs, you know, with the pressures not on him. That it’s off. He needs to learn, you know some more of the mechanics, but basically, that’s not the issue.

“He could basically do anything mechanically and he’s got a good head for the business. He’s just got to get in there and pull some time.

“That’s all that’s missing and it’s the same thing that was missing with everybody that’s ever put on a pair of boots. You have to have time in to get better.”

“(That’s) not to say if somebody offered him something he couldn’t refuse. That’s going to be his call at the time.

“Yes, you know, he needs to get as many reps as he can with as many different opponents as he can.”

Since his AEW exit in October Brock has competed just once, that being a tag team match at WrestleCade SuperShow 2023 from his native North Carolina.
