WWE Hall Of Famer Wins Tag Team Title With His Son

A WWE Hall of Famer has taken to social media to show off his new tag team championship he won alongside his son.

Ricky Morton spent a large portion of his career teaming with Robert Gibson as The Rock N’ Roll Express. Morton is still winning tag-team gold, but with a different partner.

Morton recently took to Twitter to note that he had some father-son bonding time at a Joe Cazana Promotions show. Competing in front of a live crowd, Ricky and Kerry Morton won tag team titles together at the Tennessee show .

In the last few years, Morton has made appearances for NJPW, AEW and NWA. According to the wrestling veteran, he can still go for an hour in between the ropes.

In WWE, Rey and Dominik Mysterio are also trying to win tag team gold as a father-son duo. They challenge Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler for the titles at WrestleMania Backlash.

Also at WrestleMania Backlash, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman will challenge for Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship. McIntyre has recently explained the decision to have him lose at WrestleMania 37.
