WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Adam Copeland Arriving In AEW Is ‘Good For Wrestling’ AEW

A WWE Hall of Famer believes Adam Copeland arriving in AEW is “good for wrestling.”

At AEW WrestleDream, the former Edge in WWE, Adam Copeland made his debut after weeks of speculation following his final WWE match of his contract.

Prior to his arrival in All Elite Wrestling, Adam’s old friend and rival, Kurt Angle predicted that Edge was a WWE lifer and was too loyal to join their biggest competition.

On the latest episode of his podcast, Angle reacted to Adam Copeland’s AEW debut. Stating that this move is “good for wrestling,” Kurt said:

“Let me tell you, it’s a good thing, and I’m not saying this because I’m trying to protect my ass now.”

“It’s good when guys cross over because Edge, there are a lot of guys he hasn’t faced in AEW. Guys like Samoa Joe or Sting, MJF, and a lot of great wrestlers.”

“This is really good for the fans because they’re gonna see new matchups, new faces, they’re gonna see Edge face these different competitors, and they’re going to be different matches, they’re going to have a different flavor.”

“I think it’s really good. I think it’s good for wrestling. I think it’s good for Edge.”

Adam Copeland will make his AEW in-ring debut against Luchasaurus on the October 10 Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.

As previously reported, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed Edge’s departure from WWE and arrival in AEW during the Fastlane press conference.
