A WWE Hall of Famer claims he received a “heads up” months before Vince McMahon’s return to the company.
When Vince McMahon retired from WWE back in July, many questioned whether or not he was truly out of the picture for good.
His retirement was in fact brief as McMahon was reinstated to the Board of Directors and has been named Executive Chairman of WWE.
On a recent episode of “Foley Is Pod”, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley discussed his positive relationship with McMahon. He said:
“I feel for Vince, and I care very much about Vince as a person. I’ve had my ups and downs with him over the years, but that’s been largely business.”
“Always respected him, always genuinely liked him, and I wanna make sure that this guy who meant so much to my life is happy.”
Foley would go on to reveal that he was given a heads up that “something might be happening” months ago in regards to a shakeup within the company, alluding to knowing that Vince McMahon would make a return.
