Internal WWE Reaction To Night of Champions Revealed

The internal reaction to the recent Saudi Arabia premium live event WWE Night of Champions has been revealed.

WWE Night of Champions took place in Jeddah on Saturday, May 27 2023 and highlights from the show can be seen below this news story.

The behind-the-scenes reaction to show has now been revealed by PW Insider.

According to their sources, WWE is “extremely happy” with how the show went.

The event at Jeddah Super Dome reportedly set a new record for merchandise sales in Saudi Arabia.

In addition, it’s stated that WWE Night of Champions scored the highest viewership of any premium live event in Saudi Arabia to date.

The event was the ninth WWE show to be held in Saudi Arabia under the ten-year deal between the two parties and the first Night of Champions since 2015.

It surpassed the previous record for Saudi Arabia by a staggering 18% with that show being November 2022’s Crown Jewel featuring Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul.

PW Insider also noted that over the Memorial Day weekend which also saw NXT Battleground taking place, the WWE YouTube channel surpassed 95 million subscribers.

This places them “above any other sports league with more than 90 million subs.”

As PW Insider also states: “the NBA has 20.6 million. The NFL has 11.2 million. MLB has 4.36 million. UFC has 16.1 million.”
