On the August 11 2023 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso quit the WWE only to be recruited to Raw at Payback in September.
Since his move to the red brand, Uso has become a success when it comes to live event merchandise sales and remains firmly in and around the main event picture.
Although Jey Uso won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships with Cody Rhodes shortly after moving to Raw, his success hadn’t stretched to single matches.
This all changed on Monday’s (December 18) edition of Raw, when Jey Uso won his first TV singles match since rejoining Raw in September, ending his Monday Night Raw singles losing streak.
After WWE Payback on September 2, 2023, Uso’s singles record featured a string of losses starting with Drew McIntyre on the September 18 episode.
He would follow this up with singles losses to Damian Priest on October 23, McIntyre again in the WarGames Advantage match on November 20, Seth Rollins on December 4 and McIntyre once more on December 11.
December 18 has brought that singles streak to an end though, with his victory over Ludwig Kaiser.
Highlights from the match, which featured an appearance from Kofi Kingston, can be seen below this news story.
Recent issues with the trademark over Yeet haven’t dampened spirits when it comes to the former Bloodline member, either, with a new T-shirt now available to pre-order that seemingly pokes fun over the legal issues.
