WWE Star Teases Free Agent Joining The Company? WWE

Sami Callihan officially became a free agent on September 30 having left IMPACT Wrestling earlier that month.

The former IMPACT World Champion has since discussed his reason for leaving, stating that neither side could come together on a new deal.

It had been recently reported that Jon Moxley was interested in AEW securing the services of Callihan.

Moxley and Callihan have quite the history together, dating back to 2009 as members of The Crew and then The Switchblade Conspiracy whilst also feuding with each other across a number of independent promotions.

Someone else who seemingly sees the importance of signing Callihan is WWE’s Karrion Kross.

Kross sent a message to Callihan on Twitter, reflecting on their past together, writing:

“I held this title proudly Sami.

“You always brought out the most vicious side of me- which always took me to my next level.

“I heard you’re a free agent now.

“Let me return the favor and open a door for you that you once opened for me.”

The title in question is the REVOLVER Championship which Kross held for 84 days during 2019.

In REVOLVER, Kross teamed with Ace Romero, Jessicka Havok and JT Dunn when The Revelation took on Matthew Palmer & oVe (Jake Crist, Madman Fulton & Callihan) at The Nightmare After X-Mas in a Cage of Horrors match in December 2019.

Callihan is no stranger to WWE, having been signed to a contract in May 2013 following a dark match in October 2012.

He would debut as Solomon Crowe, however would mostly be seen at live events and dark matches before making his television debut in February 2015.

He would be released from his WWE contract on November 24, 2015.
