Tales From The Dead Zone is about a Medical Examiner conducting autopsies on victims of a horrible car crash, who imagines how they may have lived their lives. The anthology links four terrifying stories together.

According to the official press release, Tales From The Dead Zone is a throwback to movies like Pulp Fiction, Tales From The Crypt and Creepshow.

Direct Barry J. Gillis says that was not the original intention but he has no problems with the comparisons:

“I didn’t set out to shoot a movie like any other film, but these comparisons, came up in the dailies, as well as from fans who contacted me after seeing an early trailer. If Tales From The Dead Zone reminds people of other films they love from the past, that’s a great honor.”

According to Gillis, some people are sceptical about Hart and Feldman appearing in the same movie, assuming it will be a “disaster”. Gillis says that is far from the case:

“We get messages from people, who think it’s a disaster. It just boggles the mind. To me it’s been a great idea since day one. Both are true professionals, and great actors. I’m happy with their performances.”

Hart is no stranger to the world of acting. In 1994 he played a prison inmate in Natural Born Killers, had a recurring role on television series Lonesome Dove, was immortalised in animated form in The Simpsons and played Genie in 2004 and 2006 stage productions of Aladdin.
