WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have shared an unlikely duo that they are patterning their tag team after.

Speaking to After the Bell, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez shared the pair of WWE legends they’ve patterned their team after.

While the pair have had plenty of conversations in general about different aspects of their character work, both Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan agreed on one notable pair from WWE’s past as a particular inspiration for their current team.

Sharing that their similar “vibe” and ‘aesthetic” the pair of Shawn Michaels and Diesel have served as an inspiration for the tag team champs.

While still a relatively new pair together, Morgan and Rodriguez are no strangers to championship gold both as singles and tag teams.

Liv Morgan captured her first WWE Tag Team championship on the April 10 edition of WWE Raw where the duo beat the team of Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus for the belts after a backstage attack on actual co-champ Lita left her unable to compete.
