Every Surprise Main Roster Appearance On NXT Head-To-Head With AEW Dynamite

On tonight’s WWE NXT (October 10) there were plenty of main roster surprises as the show went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite. 

Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley interrupted a segment between Cody Rhodes and Ilja Dragunov and after a back and forth exchange, a match was confirmed by special guest general manager, Cody Rhodes. 

Rhodes announced the match would be for the NXT Championship and would have a special guest referee: LA Knight. 

Later they would be joined by fellow Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh who appeared when Dirty Dom took on Ilja Dragunov. While they would attempt to interfere to turn the tide of the match in Dom’s favor, they were ultimately unsuccessful. 

Shotzi made her entrance including a tank to join commentary for the match between Roxanne Perez and Asuka for the first match of the night. 

Shotzi also revealed that she and Scarlett Bordeaux will serve as special guest hosts for NXT’s upcoming two-part Halloween Havoc. 

She would end up getting into a physical altercation with Kiana James who attempted to attack Roxanne Perez after her loss to Asuka. 

Elsewhere in the women’s division, Tegan Nox would pop by the PC after her big championship match against Becky Lynch on this past week’s episode of WWE Raw. 

In a backstage segment with Lyra Valkyria, Nox asserted herself as still wanting a shot at the WWE NXT Women’s Championship, challenging Valkyria to a match next week on NXT. 

In the main event match  of the show, Solo Sikoa made a surprise appearance as well, getting involved in a brawl with John Cena who was at ringside in support of Carmelo Hayes. 

Cena had gotten involved in the match after Bron Breakker was holding steel steps over Hayes so Cena intervened however would be attacked by Sikoa. 

Elsewhere, Jade Cargill made her NXT debut as she was seen exiting a car and being greeted by Shawn Michaels in the Performance Center parking lot. 

Thankfully she appeared to be escorted by HBK so we can assume she made it into the building safely tonight.
