Former WWE Star Announces He Is Coming Out Of Retirement WWE

A former WWE star has announced that he is coming out of retirement to take bookings through the end of 2023.

Formerly known as Aiden English of the Vaudevillains and Rusev Day in WWE, Matthew Rehwoldt has still been an active name in the wrestling business, now behind the commentary desk.

On the call for IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW STRONG and independent promotions like Wrestling Revolver, Rehwoldt has proven himself to be a capable voice who can play the heel role, while also having his morals and principles that allows him to sometimes side with the babyfaces.

Despite some in-ring appearances for IMPACT, it seemed like the active in-ring days for the former Aiden English were behind him. In 2022, he then announced his in-ring retirement.

On July 20, Rehwoldt took to Twitter to seemingly announce his coming out of retirement to take bookings to wrestle for the rest of 2023.

It’s official…

I will be taking WRESTLING bookings again on a limited basis through the end of the year! (Including Vaudevillains matches? )

Available to:

– Wrestle
– Meet & Greet
– Commentary/Host
– Manage/Mouthpiece
