A WWE star has shared a message for his former AEW tag-team partner on his birthday.
Before he was NXT star Lexis King, ‘Brian Pillman Jr’ wrestled as part of the Varsity Blondes in AEW, alongside Griff Garrison.
King has now taken to Twitter to share a birthday message for Garrison, calling him one of the greatest men he knows.
Sharing a photo of himself with Garrison taken in an AEW photoshoot, King wrote:
Happy birthday to one of the greatest men I know, my former tag team partner, a jacked and tan blonde who will make millions in this business! Who the frick is he?
He’s Griff Garrison!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Garrison and King last wrestled together in October 2022, facing off against Cole Karter & QT Marshall at an AEW Dark taping.
King left AEW in July 2023 after his contract expired. It was reported a few days later that he had visited the WWE Performance Center for a tryout.
He officially joined the NXT brand that August, ahead of his first WWE vignettes airing that September.
