WWE Name Calls For Roster Member To Bring Back Old Character

A WWE name has called for a current roster member to return to their former character following a recent split on Raw.

Tensions within Imperium officially boiled over on last night’s episode of Raw, when Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser were defeated in tag team action by the New Day.

Following the match, Gunther got in the face of Kaiser, who would then betray his partner Vinci, officially ending the team.

Kaiser and Gunther will seemingly remain aligned on the brand going forward, with Vinci seemingly now set to be a singles wrestler.

Following the turn, SmackDown announcer Wade Barrett shared a message to Vinci, calling for him to return to his previous gimmick from his time alone in NXT back in 2022.

He shared a photo of himself and Vic Joseph on commentary during one of Vinci’s entrances, with the caption:

Let’s do this @VinciWWE. (Not you, @VicJosephWWE) #WWERaw

Vinci had adopted a rather fashionable gimmick in NXT when he remained on the brand following Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser’s call ups in 2022, with him dropping the gimmick to return to Imperium at Clash at the Castle in 2022.
